Classic cars on the road
Re: Classic cars on the road
Spotted these two racing towards Exeter earlier!
After the DB5 blasted past I realized I recognised the driver!
Car was on its way to the 'Three Castles Rally' in Wales
The car is well known after completing the Paris to Peking rally
(Note the ironic road sign!)

THREE Ferrari 250GT California's
Imagine my amazement at seeing this lot in the pub car park in Bledington (Cotswolds) on Sunday night!
Not one, not two but THREE, plus a Maserati Ghibli and a Jaguar XK140

You didn't get that sort of class in Edgbaston!
Has Zac got his fingers trapped in the window again, and is waiting for the AA to free him?

What an amazing chance encounter!
Apart from the UK registered cars, where were the others from?
I'm usually pretty good with plates, even reading them upside down from down under but I can't work those ones out!
The 250's may have the value but I think the Ghibli Spyder is rather fabulous!!!!

Felix, delightful photos above with nostalgic Kodachrome yellow tint to them making them look like they were taken in the early 1960s.

What are the chances of a Fiat Topolino crossing a junction while a Jensen C-V8 is waiting from the opposite direction?felixkk wrote: and today in zurich:

Re: Classic cars on the road
I got excited when I saw that, but then rationalised that Felix must have had a reason to be waiting on that street corner with a camera. If the C-V8 is unconnected, it would be remarkable.
Incidentally, "quite interesting" fact of the day: in Italian Topolino translates as Fiat "Mickey Mouse".
