Re: Classic cars on the road
The 400/412 one of my faves too, not many post 1970 Ferraris do it for me but these do. The HA looks a good 'un, have fond memories of having the Bedford van version as my first BT van, back in 1984, MOP33X. Really nice to drive, short stubby gearstick and a turning lock better than a London Taxi
My Toys: Lotus Cortina MK2.RangeRover P38, Yam inflatable, Saab 9-3 Convertible.

This TVR wedge looks a lot sharper in real life than it does in this grainy zoomed in dash cam image.

Re: Classic cars on the road
Never been a 911 fan, But in old age find myself liking the earlier cars, when in great shape quite cool I think now, But can not fathom in a million years how a say a '69 911S or something could be 100k??
I'm told they are so awesome & usable- fair enough, but so is any Jensen, isn't massed produced & all of them can't be confused with anything else- Oh yes you won't look like a total git in one either!
Here is Aub's utterly mint 7- It shares space with the best Interceptor 11 I have ever seen-
I always liked them personally, always fancied a TR8.

I appreciate it is an out of the ordinary design, which is a plus in my book, but never much liked them. As for the "mint" and "straightest" example, the left hand door front bottom corner does not line up too well.
The chrome wheel trims looks a little out of place on a car without chrome.

Unfortunately for the TR7, those two comments are not mutually exclusive. That is the straightest TR7 I've ever seen!

Last fill up of the year. Not done it too often this year though. It was nice of Sainsbury's to fill their tanks before I got there!

I hope you turned the engine off whilst filling Shaun.
There’s an old joke about an 8 litre Bentley being filled at the pumps by an attendant whilst the car is running at tick-over. The attendant turns to the driver and says “Would you mind turning off sir, I think you're gaining on me!”

That TR7 has Arizona plates on it. I am guessing that is the original paint on an unrestored car. Very possible there!
