Not a woman but an itinerant workman who called at a large and obviously prosperous house offering to do painting jobs.
The owner of the house took pity on him and said he'd like the windows at the front of the house stripped and one coat of undercoat and two coats of gloss applied. I'll supply the Dulux paint he added. They agreed a price.
"Oh" he went on, "Whilst you're at it paint the porch as well"
A few hours later the workman came back to say he'd finished the job.
He said he hoped the windows were to his employer's satisfaction and, by the way, it's not a porch but a Ferrari.

It is in a yard that has several businesses, one is a body shop so I suspect it is in for some bodywork.

I did not have a chance to stop today but if I get a chance I will pop in again in the next couple of days and see if it is still there.

I wonder why if it is for sale at Bicester it has been brought to Witney? :?

There must be places far closer than Witney if it needs some paint?

Did you jump out of your car and stopped it by laying yourself on the road in front of it?

If not, why?

I am writing to you from my hospital bed.
You may recall a similar situation occurred 12 months ago.
