No, the S-V8 uses the all-alloy quad cam, hand-built Cobra motor. The MG/Rover uses a cast iron, single cam per head, V8 (also by Ford though).

I've spotted the swapped captions. Do I win a prize?

Saw this very pretty little MG at Newlands Corner in Surrey today. Shame about the old barge in the background though...

Another example of how large modern cars are becoming.

Not really.
You're correct about modern cars being big now, but the Phantom has
always been huge. :D

Interestingly, what surprises me - how well-worn were people those days. With general wealth actually much lesser than today.

Are Phantoms chauffered in modern UK, or driven by owner?

But that's a Unipower, not a Phantom. Time for Specsavers maybe? :D

I have only spoken to one owner and he told me it is always chauffeured as it cannot be parked anywhere in town due to its size. I suppose you could drive, but swap seats with the chauffeur when you arrived.

But the black one probably uses 40-50% less fuel and tops out at around 160mph!! :-0

I wouldn't have though that size would have been a problem? Cosy having a chauffeur in a Unipower though.

I see what you did there!

But the Unipower is probably too low to trigger a car park barrier, or not enough steel in it for the sensors!

I just tried to say that people were well-dressed, not well-worn.
