MK3 Interceptor JOE 50L
Met up with somebody last night, who had a MK3 Interceptor, JOE 50L in the late 70's, and wondered if it is still around. DVLA states not taxed since 83, but V5 last issued Nov 2015, so possibly still around. It was maroon with cream interior, any body know where it is?

Re: MK3 Interceptor JOE 50L
This was one of many that were part of the "Travelling Wilbury" collection. Most were scrap or very neglected and had parts mixed/swopped around...allegedly. He must have bought it around 2012...
I recall returning to my maroon Mk1 Interceptor when I had parked outside the Uni Building in Aston, Birmingham in about 1979/80 and finding JOE 50L parked behind me. My reg at the time was JEN 35 and I left a note on the screen saying Hi to Joe from Jen. Never did meet the owner and even Alan at JPS said he wasn't aware of who owned it at the time. Let's hope it still exists somewhere.

INT 8561 Interceptor III JOE 50L
It may be a goner. My last trace was from 2017 when it was stripped of parts and the shell sold, but it could survive forever on the DVLA database.

Thanks all, wondered what the Travelling Wilbury collection was, but now I know. As said probably a goner now, but with that reg, it may surface again via a bit of jiggery-pokery.
