Jensens in this week's Classic Car Weekly

Post by Helen »

I'm surprised no one else has commented on this. I was amazed to see a Jensen-Healey buyers guide with realistic prices as well as a feature on the Jensen CV8 in this week's issue. It is really good to see these models given more publicity.

I did post a few photos on the JOC FB page.

The forum doesn’t seem that popular.

Thanks Helen. As John says I've seen lots of mentions of this on FB although I wasn't aware of the C-V8 article. I will have to nip out and see if I can get one.

CCW is also included in https://gb.readly.com
A couple of other interesting classic car magazines as well. They have a free trial period. I took a subscription half a year ago. At first it is excellent but there's just too much to read! And, a personal observation, it is more of the same in those magazines all the time so I think my subscription will not last much longer.

The Big Friendly Giant in Deep Carriage Green (or thereabouts as sprayed by Colin Holley 22 years ago) is my trusty steed!
Them image was one of 50 plus taken by a photographer working for Classic Car a the time some 3 years ago- he took some lovely pics and I have them all.
It was a feature called The List, and if you squint closely you'll see me enjoying the passenger seat for the first time, and the Driver looking pretty happy, having left his XJS at my house for the day!

I've got my CCW, but have yet to obtain a C&SC magazine - oh the power of fame!
