Brilliant. Well done. It's a long time since a Jensen featured in an advert.

I don't know about you lot, but that's exactly how I picture myself at that age. I've grown a white beard as a start.

I also like the realistic depiction of starting a Jensen; not necessarily first time but it will get there.

A little odd that the DVLA says it's a maroon Jensen on the registration number AWA 300G

Yes they have issues, my green interceptor is a CV8 according to them and until last year was red, although it still carries it original paint and has never been re-sprayed.

One too many click down boxes and they are suffering
1973 Interceptor Mk III 136/8332 - Moss Green
1973 Jensen Healey Mk 1 11362 - Magenta - Owned by Lindsey
1972 Jensen Healey Mk 1 10343 - Sadly too far gone and so now a donor car
1973 Jensen Healey Mk 1 12504 - Sold for potential restoration / racer

Actually SAGA (an insurance organisation supposedly for active over 50s) would probably be unwilling to help him.

I owned a bog standard Mk1 MX5 (Miata) which has very little power. As soon as I reached 50 I realised I could tap into the insurance from Saga; I was middle-aged in good health, no convictions, no accidents. They just refused to quote me, saying "We don't cover that kind of vehicle". Needless to say, my shadow has never darkened their doorstep again.
