River Bourne gathering.

Post by Parky65 »

I joined some other members today at River Bourne Classics, they were having a stop off on their way to the Goodwood track day.
Jason and the team showed us great hospitality with endless teas and cakes which went down a storm.
Sadly my car had an issue which meant I had to leave it with them, a small misfire. This is where when asked Grant agreed to give me a lift to my junction on the M3 where I was met by Antony Bruty who drove me the rest of the way home, firstly a huge thank you to them both for helping a fellow member in need secondly just to say how much I enjoyed the conversation on the journey.
I think in Grant I have found someone that likes to chat as much as me lol.
Many thanks Grant, hopefully see you soon.

It was really nice to see the cars lined up at River Bourne. Teas, coffees and croissants laid on by Jason and Nick. This was the line up. There will be a report with pictures in the next magazine on the events at Goodwood so I won't spoil that here.

Hi all,
My thanks to Jason and Nick for being so welcoming at River Bourne Classics. I wish them every success going forward.

It was great to see some fantastic cars ranging from a couple of 541's and Interceptor Convertible just starting restoration through to a most fabulous fully restored FF.

It was also good to see a good number of club members and their cars out there and I have been inspired to put some work in on my Interceptor this weekend.

That's Parky65's rather nice and clean Cassis Interceptor II in the foreground of the second picture.
