No need for Photoshop! You don't remember the hat?

Back in the early '70's my every day driver car was a Sunbeam Tiger. My Sunday cruiser was an AC Bristol. I also had Mustangs. We spent a lot of time at early Shelby club shows and Mustang Club of America shows. At first they were a lot of fun but then as the cars started getting restored and over restored the fun went away. All the participants were concerned with was making sure every nut and bolt was correct and had the right finish on it and that there were no fingerprints anywhere. Show up on Saturday, set up your display, clean the car and then never touch it until it is time to put it back in the trailer on Sunday. At one Shelby show Carroll Shelby himself in his Banquet speech took offense to the trailer queens and reminded everyone that these cars were meant to be driven and enjoyed and not just as museum pieces. This is why I along with my wife enjoy the Jensen shows as of course the main goal is to have fun with the cars and be able to check out other like cars and of course enjoy the friendship and comradery of the people there. :)

Searching for your International Weekend concours song on Youtube from Windsor ?? a few years back. Knew your nickname was "Midland Maverick", eventually this came up:

Well said Slotcarone.

(I also tried to post a picture of a gun toting Randolf Scott...wearing large Stetson...saying 'is that a JOC Administrator highjacking this thread' - but my phone wouldn't play ball)

The AC was a great car but I sold it in about 1979 for $1900. I used to drive it to work on nice days. About 15 years ago I found out from a VIN search on the net that it was raced at the Sebring 12 hour in 1960 when it was new by Bob Grossman. Here's a pic of the car in the race and there are others too.
