RIP Jensen's Top Valeter

Post by Kevin Birch »

Tomorrow I will be attending the funeral of Maud Pritchard, apparently Jensen's top valeter, who recently passed away aged 97. The club was contacted by her granddaughter to see if it was possible for a car to attend the funeral, and as I am a local lad, willingly obliged. A very interesting article has already been written about this lady, which can be found here: https://www.jensenmuseum.org/jensens-to ... pritchard/

It will be a privilege to represent the club to remember her Jensen history.

That’s cool.

Good for you to be showing the Jensen flag.

Better make sure your car is spotless!

What a lovely story!
I enjoyed reading it immensely.

What a treasure, a lady we never knew yet now feels like a member of the family. Another interesting, hardworking British treasure sadly gone but never forgotten. A shame we didn't get a chance to hear her story 1st hand. God bless her.

Hi Kev, do hope today went as well as these days go, i trust she had a good send off. There are precious few of these people left.
