Go Classics Issue 1

Post by Series3Jensen »

Hi All

You may have noted that my car was the subject of a 2 page repeat article - Pages 74 and 75

Also an article on cars owned by Jeff Bailey JOC Mem No 2489 - at least 3 Jensen Interceptors up to 1983 - including 3 VKM - a yellow Mk 1 with red coachlines and a drivers door mirror - does anyone know the Chassis No of this car

Also a picture of PDF 735 M - which was on 2240/9510 but was neither the 1970 or 1971 Mk 11's that he describes??
It will be interesting if he purchased any more Interceptors after 1983
Not yet seen Issue 2 of Go Classics

KInd regards

Hi all

Further information on Jeff Bailey's previously owned Interceptors

I believe that the 1971 Interceptor 2 purchased by him in 02.1984 with 42,000 miles was Chassis No 123/3963 and is currently taxed until 31.05.22

PDF 735 M Chassis No 2240/9510 was originally Havana Brown but the photograph shows it as a mid blue

Kind regards

I saw it at Cropredy in 1986 and it was approximately Reef Blue then.

Richard

Thank you for your notes on VKM 3
If this is 115/3471 - i now have this car as being in the same ownership since 2000 and now White and wearing the Registration No DDF 792 H
This car was for sale on E-bay on 10.2020 but not sold
Owner was Mike W of Swindon but unsure if he is a JOC Member

I have details of cars for sale by Cropredy Bridge Garage in 1986 but have not been able to link any advert specifically to this car yet

Kind regards
