Interceptor SMB ***H spotted in Chipping Norton

Post by Martin R »

A dark blue Interceptor spotted this morning in Chipping Norton at 09:45 this morning.
Anyone know whose it is?
It may have been being driven by a workshop mechanic as the drivers seat appeared to have had a disposable plastic cover.
I was in my Morris Minor

Hi Martin
I didn’t know you had a Morris Minor 👍 I have a 68 Saloon mind if I ask what yours is?
Cheers

Today, several weeks later, I just met the chap in Witney!
However, I didn't make the connection to this car that I saw in Chipping Norton until now...

I cannot believe that over 580 people looked at a perfectly normal post about seeing a damn car in Chipping Norton. Then we have Martin's Noddy car. This belongs on "for Idiots only".Kenny38 8)

I've pencilled in your lightning wit response for early 2022.

Just seen this post (must visit the forum more often), a bit late in the day to say the least ! Yes, SMB 275 is my early MkII Interceptor and has been burbling around CN, and North Wales occasionally, in my ownership for 34 years. Recently rejuvenated very satisfactorily with a full body, brake, suspension, trim and some mechanical restoration.

Better late than never Durand and I was pleased to meet you the other day :)
