JOC International - drive out to Abingdon Air Show

Post by shaun »

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Please note, that due to airfield regulations we have been advised that we need to be at Abingdon Airfield/Dalton Barracks BARROW ROAD entrance between 09.15 and 09.30 on the Saturday.

Very sorry about this but nothing I can do about it.

Thus suggest we abandon the scenic cross country run and make best speed along M4 and A34 to the Marcham/Abingdon Interchange and follow the signs for exhibitors.

It would be gratefully appreciated if those of you who are intending going to the air show could advise me asap of driver/passenger details, car details and registration number.

Many thanks
Shaun Winfield

Hi Shaun,
I intend to come to the Abingdon Air Show.
Definitely on my own, probably in my Interceptor KRX124H.
If i switch cars and come in my 541 would that be a problem?

Hi Shaun,
Not entirely sure which car yet but should know next week. Does this mean we have to stay at the show all day or can we do the drive on the way out?

I'm waiting for confirmation of the details from the organisers.

As soon as I know I will let everyone know.
