Hi,
I’m an old member that maybe returning to the fold.
I am going to see the above Interceptor 1st thing tomorrow. The club registrar has been very helpful with some history on this car but more specifically has anyone any personal knowledge of this car before I see it.
Not really expecting anything at this late stage but I thought it was worth a try.
Thank you
Brett

Hi Jim,
Indeed I did. That FF is now in a private car collection abroad. How I miss it. Although my don and I have rebuilt a series landrover and currently a Porsche 944 they do not compare with the feelings I had driving the Jensen. Which is why I wish to buy another Jensen. Unfortunately the FF’s are now out of my price range.
And thank you guys for the addition info. We will see what tomorrow brings.

There's another thread regarding this car in the Cars For Sale section.
Invest in a Jensen they said, they're not making them anymore.

I went and saw the red Jensen Interceptor advertised on ebay for £19,000.
It wasn’t for me. I’ve uploaded an “unlisted” video to you tube to help anyone else interested in it.

You would have to make up your own mind. . I just felt it was not an honest car and I felt there maybe lots of purposely hidden issues. But maybe someone else would see it differently because it wasn’t actually terrible just not for me. Briefly. 1. Not much worked. 2. I felt there was hidden rust problems 3. Engine started 1st time. 4. There was no water in the cooling system. 5. Pretty sure there was a lot of filler hidden by a respray (but maybe not). 6. Gearbox maybe ok and only linkage problems. 7. Typical setup where if in doubt put a coat of black paint in engine bay and boot (nothing there).8. Observation - the vinyl interior had been re-coated
I’ve put a copy here and in the cars for sale section where there was an existing thread on the car.
Thank you Brett
