I wonder how heavy it was, and what the torsional stiffness was like compared to a CV8?

Interesting that the builder calls it a Jensen with an O.

That curved front panel on the Bristol and the Esperando, I saw an Interceptor once out the back of Cropredy that was for sale that had the front panel curving up like that, couldn't work out why it was like it, I was passing and thought I would pop in, I said to Ole Bob Cherry in there about it, we sort of all laughed about it, not sure if it was a badly repaired one or what was going on..it was a cream colour or White from memory..about 8 years or so ago..I just wanted to get off my chest

Ignoring the structural problems, and the "gopping" front appearance, I rather like his car and feel it is much more British than the Lamborghini shape.

The Espada will be driven by a man with a cardigan draped over his shoulders, in desperately stylish shoes, and heading to an alfresco meal with sparkling wine.

The Esporando will be driven by someone with a battered tweed jacket, and he'll put his muddy brogues onto the pedals as he heads towards a meat pie and veg, with a decent pint.

Now I see the car from the back, I really think it is inspired! The owner wanted something more modern, more sporty, more British, and more Italian than the CV8, Lamborghini and Bristol, I think he got that. The CV8 is very of it's time, 1960s. Looking at the front, Bristol was too bland, but he wanted that classic Bristol curve, and he improved it, and to get better lighting his main beam lights were made larger to make use of that curve, which is now practical and not just a design element. Imagine that with a gorgeous CV8 interior, manual transmission (OK it didn't have that), a gorgeous 383 rumble, and a Mk2 leather steering wheel might have had that.
