Slowly Getting Back to Normal

Post by KaranMK2 »

I am Easy Like Sunday Morning and so wish that the direction was true in the photo.

At a BMW/Ford AVO car meet in Warwickshire.

Who sang the song?

Regards

Nice rally motors but the paint colour selection was rather limited at the factory. My Jensen Umbrella raised a few eyebrows too !!!

It's a line in the song Easy, "I'm Easy like Sunday Morning" which is repeated a few times

But that is not the name of the song... little like Jolene by Dolly Pardon... Jolene is related 4 times in the Lyrics but the song is actually Jolene, just like "Easy" is the name of the song :D

I'm always reminded of the TV ad where a guy wakes up, and leaves his flat to pick up a Sunday paper while the music plays. Can't remember the product though!

Those Mexicos really do it for me: the matt black grilles, the quarter bumpers and those superb plain chrome hubcaps. I guess you never forget your first love.

Karan,
couldn't you have borrowed one of those Twin cam air filters, mine is missing, and are rarer than the cars. I'm sure Raj could have kept the owner busy whilst you got your spanner out

Hi Kevin,

As you probably know the same AC air cleaners albeit with shorter trumpets are fitted to the JH. It shouldn't be too hard to find a spare JH air cleaner and fabricating and fitting longer trumpets may be a possible solution to your missing air cleaner,

Cheers,
Basil
