Now that the dust has settled, here's an interesting pic from some research I did in 2016.
HRH, the Duke of Edinburgh pictured here when he visited Silver City Airways at Ferryfield (Lydd) on 5th April 1956. The Jensen connection is Michael Day who is pictured third from the left, just behind the Duke. Day had been a Technical Director of Silver City Airways (a part of British Aviation Services). Norcros brought Day to Jensen Motors Ltd, appointing him as Managing Director in 1963. Day had no previous experience of the motor industry and was not a particularly good choice. Within a year he was replaced by Brian Owen.

Interesting stuff Keith.
Also a Silver City airways connection to Daniel Bristow’s 541 as displayed on the clubs 2019 NEC stand.

Re: The Duke of Edinburgh (Jensen Connection)
The two chaps to the right of the HRH look like Freddy Forman and Reggy Kray
Was there a connection there?
Oh I know I am the Forum Clown
I love your knowledge Keith, I'm sure I read somewhere that Brian Owen was using one of the Mk1 Manual cars
