Wow! That's interesting. It hasn't been seen since about 2008.

Another photo shows a blue Boss Mustang being on a transporter too. I believe that in the FFF garage there was at least a Hemi Charger also.
Someone commented that the owner passed, so perhaps the cars are on the way to an auction house?

Re: FFF100 Spotted
I (probably very naively) assume that as the car is, as far as I understand, a rebodied existing chassis, the mechanical side of getting the car driving would be relatively straight forward??

Re: FFF100 Spotted
As far as I remember it was an additional FF chassis made for GKN.

FFF 100 | Building starts
With drawings and detailing finished it was time for the FFF 100 to be made, Jensen Motors sold GKN an FF chassis, which was especially stiffened. The overall weight of the FFF 100 would be lighter than the Jensen FF, so softer springs were fitted to the front suspension, and less spring leaves were used to the rear to give the correct ride height.
Re: FFF100 Spotted
I read somewhere that it was a pre-existing production series Mk1 or Mk2 FF chassis that was sold to GKN. Something in the 160 or 190 chassis number range. Externally at least, that is a very different looking transfer box to the FF we know.FFPL wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 12:01 amhttps://www.jensenmuseum.org/fff-100-gk ... ive-titan/

Re: FFF100 Spotted
I would make room for that in my garage any day of the week (the obvious question would be how to register it - probably wouldn’t be possible unless you somehow got special exemptions).

Jensens.........when does it ever end!
Re: FFF100 Spotted
I'd like to know a bit more about the owner. Who he is, or was if he has passed. A bit more about the story of the car and how he got it. His other cars, what motivated him, was he into Mopar, Jensens, earth movers, trucks... Was he a quiet Fred Dibnah type?
(Edit: I might have to watch from the sidelines if this does indeed go to auction. One car I wish I had bought, was the Ferguson P99 when that went to auction about 20 years ago.)

John, your problems are over, I think you can afford this one:

There is so much subterfuge surrounding this car that I don't think we will ever find out the history. The owner was very secretive and no matter how hard we tried we always hit a dead end! I'm glad it still survives and hopefully a Jensen enthusiast will be able to get their hands on it.

It a shame really that the club couldn't somehow but the car and be the custodian of such a car, put this in itself would course other problemsHelen wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 10:12 am There is so much subterfuge surrounding this car that I don't think we will ever find out the history.
