No more Rejen ?

Post by Pymmie »

Looks like the boys at Rejen have gone their seperate ways.

Paul is listed as Rejen Service Ltd. (Same premises)

Jason is listed as River Bourne Classics Ltd (New premises)

The Rejen website is no longer live..

Let’s hope it’s been an amicable split and between them they keep providing great service to the Jensen community.

Has Jason take over an existing garage because his address comes up as Williams Garage ?

You know what John I did not think of that,,, because that might be because that's why I got the name Williams Garage from, so that's why I ask if he has taken it over because Williams Garage still has an existing webpage
https://williams-garage.co.uk/

Unfortunately on the webpage or google maps it doesn't say that a Jason from Rejen now works here
Sorry for asking such a difficult question

The way of communication from both brothers is somewhat strange. Even I as a current customer have only heard about the split last Friday by chance.

I can understand that a partnership ends - but with such a reputation and customer base you have to have a clear and good strategy to tell it to the public.

Anyway will pick up 119-139 next Thursday :-) from the old place and the new company.

Jason founded REJEN in the early 90s, it was his "baby" from day one, with his knowledge of the marque and his enthusiasm for the marque he provided a good and fair service to fellow enthusiasts. I had many dealings with him in his earlier years at Owselbury (he had set up adjacent to his fathers wood working shop)he always managed to balance the business needs with the customer needs and service. However in recent years I had found, personally, that the balance had veered too far on the business side and had become less customer and enthusiast focussed. Jason has decided to walk away from the Company he started over 30 years ago, it must have been a very difficult decision for him and Alison, and gives some indication of the difficulties they were facing. I for one wish him and Alison success in their new venture and I am sure that many of us will be contacting him in the near future for friendly, knowledgeable advice and service. I firmly believe that in years to come we will all see this difficult event as a reset rather than a loss to our Jensen family.

Hi Colin, the picture of Williams garage is only showing part of the building. Looking at it from an overhead view Williams garage occupies the part outlined in blue and it looks to me from the roof lines as if there are 2 further smaller units to the right. I expect it will be one of those smaller units.
