Hi all,
I've been working through the forum for a few weeks, but there are a few things I don't get.
- I'm a JOC member now, but somehow that is not linked to my Forum account (yet?). What is the action to take there?
- My PM messages are often hung up on the 'outbox', meaning my replies don't get send out at all. What's going on there, some limitation w.r.t my new account or non-member status maybe?
Appreciate your help,
Jasper

Re: Forum funcitonality
Hi Jasper, two things to note.
The email address associated with your JOC membership needs to be the same as the email address used to register on the forum.
If you send a pm, the message stays in the outbox until the recipient decides to open and read it. The sender and administrators cannot influence the status of the pm. Only the intended recipient can take an action to move the status of the pm from outbox to read.
Hope this helps. Send me a pm to try it....
Dave

Your PM’s always stay in the outbox until the recipient has opened the message.

Hi Jasper
You are now a member of the JOC Group on the forum, you will see your name is showing in green.
As Dave T says your pms will stay in your outbox until the person you have sent the message to opens the message.

Sorry Jasper, the explanations have changed your problem from a technical hitch, to "no-one likes me"!
It's just that not everyone logs in regularly.
