Good morning Grant: the below photos capture the essence of the sunroof:
1. sun roof is tightly shut and I am lubricating fron the top
2. there is a switch that is trying to activate a motor (faint sound for a few seconds)
3. the headliner is very friable and I cant feel where mechanisms are, although I probably will at some point.
I trust this is helpful.....and sorry that it is a little late
PS: I grew up in Gravesend, Kent and went to Uni in Reading.....FYI.

Will you be fitting a sunroof Grant... (I feel partly responsible :oops: ) , I sure it will end up looking good and your the man who can do it, keep us posted :D

HiYa Francis Man :P ..Yes..I went and cut the complete roof off of an XJ40 with the Steel SunRoof in it and have it here now Francis..I'll get some pics up :wink: ..Great to hear from Francis :D
