Bloody interesting, I love the way they all get these great ideas like just having overiders without a bumper etc, brilliant, wouldn't even think of it, I don't like over-riders on bumpers, but thats the complete reverse, remove the bumper and leave the over-riderImage...not sure why he holds that cup of tea or coffee for half hour without even having one sip thoughImage

I'm with you Grant, I love their work. Total perfectionism. They are booked solid until 2025 and now only doing full builds.

Have you looked at their body shell prep process? Molten zinc spray then body coloured Raptor, end result looks 'nearly' as good as your blue Interceptor!!

Retropower is a stones throw from my house.
I worked with someone that had some bodywork done there and it was flawless.

Also a stones throw from me:-
Martin Robey
Dave Gulliver (V8 rebuild)
Stateside autos (great for Mopar bits)
Classic and chrome
Brookfield classics (first class body shop)

I hate seeing good cars pulled apart and "messed about with", but this C-V8 seems a good candidate for updating. Looking forward to seeing the finished job.

Eddie,

You should pop up there (When we're allowed!), they have some amazing projects on the go. My fave is probably the bronze coloured Stratos - mind boggling! I'd REALLY wanted them to do my body shell, but sadly now they only do complete builds.

They will be doing an Interceptor (NDV 504F) at some point, see link:

Mad stuffImage..they have some really great ideas these bods, not just this firm but all these resto-mod places, the involvement is immense, like the window crank handles being turned into switches etc..so involved with all the electrics and programming, quite amazing and at a great expense I should imagine, so it will only entice a very wealthy customers, what a great line of business to be involved inImage..where did I go wrong in lifeImage
Nice to see the Interceptor in there EricImage

Yes, I was thinking of popping along for a nose around, I worked with a couple of guys before Christmas who had a unit opposite Retropower, so a good excuse to go along.

The guy might just love his coffee.

But I was told by a marketing guy these social media videos are all about making companies feel accessible. You watch the videos, you feel like you know these people before you even pick up the phone, and they are just like you, easy going and like a coffee before work.

Doesn't always work. Guy Martin (the motorcycle racer) refused to join a team when they invited him over to discuss a deal "over a coffee". As far as he was concerned, if they weren't tea drinkers, he wasn't interested!

That’s where Retropower are leading the way, we don’t know what’s in the cup, it’s left up to your imagination. Personally I think he has beer in there, that sells the Retropower dream to me :D
