This new layout looks good, it will take a little getting use to having had the last one for 15 years, the "jump to" button at the bottom is a good idea, easier to get around. "Quick links" at the top is also a useful feature.

Thanks for highlighting that there was an issue with the permissions on your account, you shouldn't have been able to see the forum yet :-)

You did manage to panic Raj and myself until I realised what the issue was :?

Glad you like it :-)

I am here!
Looks like someone has been working hard, burning the midnight oil to get this all up and running!
Well done 8)

Actually, technically, I might have been first here, since you weren't meant to have permissions before today Colin!! LOL

Looks good and works very well!
Thank you :D

How can I see the forum without the black headline and the quick links (on the right) side?

If you page down you will get a thinner black line.

You can't get rid of the quick links on the right as these are part of the web site rather than the forum.

Yes I expect it has been a lot of hard work.

Why did I have to change my password? My computer was set to auto fill the old password but apparently it was wrong?

Looks good and thankyou for all those in the background for getting it done.

Hi Steve,

Thank you. For security and data protection reason no website is allowed to retain your password you set. the save password as you said was on your computer. As we had to ensure that everyone logging in had the right access and e-mail account against there name, password reset was required.

Glad you manage to get in though. Next time you log in you can just tick the box that say remember me and you won't need type it each time. Your browser will also ask you you wan to save the password. That is up to you if you know no one else will be using your computer.

Hope that helps.

Regards, Raj

Finally in, after a bit of faffing about with email addresses and passwords. Looking very good!

I am distressed to see that I am now labelled an "MCP" at the top of the screen. I thought I was very fair to "the ladies" on the forum, not a Male Chauvinist Pig. Or does it stand for Moderator Control Panel?

Just got on, will explore tonight, to see how it all works. Well done all that have been involved, I'm sure lots of work, and probably still quite a bit to go with odd niggles which will crop up.

Yes very well done. Rebuilding a web site with old data is like fitting old parts onto a car. Needs patience and beer!
