Great link Colin.
Brings back many memories. Living in Australia, I always bought the UK Daily Express Motor show Review every year, really looked forward to it.
The metallic orange "Yensen" (03:17) was restored by me many years ago in my workshop in Scotland. I wonder where it is now?

Re: 1973 Motor Show
Great video!
Amazing to think how car shows were, easily within living memory, with dolly birds etc. Seems a life time ago now.
Thank goodness things have changed but, Lord Stokes was clearly dilusional if he truly believed the Brits made cars better than anyone else.... The "amber warning light" was actually a big, glaring RED one in 1973.

Re: 1973 Motor Show
The 1962 show looked interesting, sounds like they expected the UK to be in the EEC the next year. (de Gaulle vetoed UK membership)

Amazing! Does this mean I'm still 'the girl who's going places' although obviously wasn't meant to actually drive it!! The maxi dresses are long gone though. So many lovely cars at that show which must still be around today.
