Polishing stainless steel and alloy wheels.

You all may already know this, but Ive only recently stumbled on a time saving way to clean and polish stainless steel trim (e.g. interceptor sill covers and tailgate surround) and alloy wheels.

Until now, I've used chrome polish and then spent ages rubbing the black residue off the polished item with a cloth.

Now, having applied the chrome polish, I simply wipe over the item with some kitchen cleaner (Aldi's finest) using a dish cloth to capture all the black residue. Then shammy off to avoid streaks.

Too late for this year's concours, but such is life...

Once Stainless Steel is polished you shouldn't need to use any abrasive polish on it anyway really StuPot, just clean it with any wax or polish as it doesn't tarnish and need any abrasive compound on it.. Obviously Alloy tarnishes so that's a different story when it comes to the wheelsImage
