VIRTUAL CONCOURS 2020 RESULTS
A big thank you to all who took time to enter this years concours, this is my first year running the concours and I didnt want to be the first Concours Secretary not to have a competition even though we have had to cancel the International and are unsure of any other suitable meetings this year.
I was very impressed with the response to a virtual concours having 37 immaculate cars entering with a good spread across all 3 classes.
I would like to thank the team in the background for their help in making this a success they are:
The judges Helen Newby, Adrian Howells, Paul Bridges & myself
The marking team, Mark and Caroline Newby
The IT Zac Marshall & Raj Mangroo
There were many places won or lost by a very small margin this year as the standard was so good, here are the results.

Re: Concours Results
May I say a massive thank you to all those who took time to enter the "virtual concours".
Quality of the cars looked superb, and as we know, the camera never lies. But seriously thanks to everyone.
And a BIG thank you to Dave and his team for judging, marking and publishing the results.
I apologise for not being fully up to speed with things at the moment but hopefully have turned a corner now and things may occur to get the house back fully operational. But the car is safe.

Re: Concours Results
I'm looking forward to seeing the Red One in the flesh next year.
Plus all the others of course
Really missed not being able to bet on how long Shaun's speech was going to be....
Sods law what with it being the closest International to me for a while

A huge "Well Done" to all involved, both competitors and organisers alike.
Concours results
I really enjoyed preparing and entering my car for the Concours. Gave me a the motivation to clean up a lot. Thanks to all.
Would it be possible for the judges' comments and points awarded for all the cars to be published as this would be very helpful and extremely interesting to the members of the JOC even if they didn't enter. Obvisiously no correspondence to be entered into. just an idea to entertain the members. Kenny38

Re: Concours Results
Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who entered. It is always a nice surprise to see the results as the judges really don't know until everything is added up.
I would like to echo Zac Marshall's sentiments about missing the International and catching up with everyone. This has been part of our family life since 1999. I hope you all took your cars out anyway. I only managed 276 miles in the FF visiting my family 'bubble' but it was great fun on the still relatively empty roads. Let's hope we can all meet up in 2021 and have real cars to judge.

Twenty one years Helen that's staying power.
It's the reverse for me twelve.
Good luck to all that entered.
And thanks to all for the judging.

Does anyone think this a smashing idea? Say something even if just no. Martin R. you are usually quick off the mark.Would it be possible for the judges' comments and points awarded for all the cars to be published as this would be very helpful and extremely interesting to the members of the JOC even if they didn't enter. Re: Concours Results
Congratulations to everyone who took the time and made the effort to participate and to those who judged, thank you.
To Phil Hayes, I remember seeing your SP when you first acquired it (or at least pictures - I can't recall now) but WOW! You've made it sparkle like your last one! Very well done and well deserved for the Members Choice award
