I saw yesterday an early jensen interceptor. It is a convertible in excellent condition. I was told that they were only ever 8 made. Is this the case?

No, Calver says at least 31 of the early Interceptors were convertibles (cabriolets in Jensen terms) and as records are incomplete there could have been more than that.
I am intrigued to know who is driving an early Interceptor around the country during the present lock down, do you recall any more about it, like the colour, and where you saw it?
