Recommendations on Salisbury Diff
Recommendations on Salisbury Diff
I need to get the diff rebuilt, certainly overhauled on my MK111 1973 Interceptor. Any recommendations please from members warmly welcomed.

I had my SP axle rebuilt by Andy Robinson Race Cars, they have ll the equipment to do an in house job. They say the Jensen axle is pretty much bullet proof but if you want the Ford drag race parts it can be sorted. Shop around and see who you feel at ease with to do a good job

Re: Recommendations on Salisbury Diff
I changed the gearing in mine (with a transmission swap to a GM 4L60e).
All of the gears (ring and pinion) are the same as a Dana 44.
95% of the parts are easy to get, but there is one part of the pinion bearing assembly (one of the races IIRC) that is different and hard to source.
I doubt if you are interested, but if you are, I can dig up the information. It's in my build thread.
