I received the file when I purchased the car and it gives you an insight to the cars history, my SP had a few warranty claims as well including pitting door handles, flasher unit, oil gauge, door switch, headlight, new gearbox seals to list a few. What is interesting is how the car had the single 4 barrel and Jensen motors stating it will be at owners expense. The Mr Lawrence must have been loyal to Jensen as he had 3 Interceptors and an Interceptor and SP at the same time, I attach the letters, for everyone’s interest. Note Jensen saying sounds like a decent bloke

Jensen advising against?

It was a mans world in those days as costs were himself and not themselves

Has anyone from the USA gotten one of these files from M. Robey on a USA car? I am wondering if it would be worth it?

Robeys will have a look and tell you how many sheets are stored before ordering.

My car was one of the late ones and Robeys said they didnt have anything on file :(

Then a couple of months later, out of the blue and at no charge they emailed me the couple of pages there'd found which was pretty darn good them them.

Mine didnt even make it to the dealer' - AT Aked's . Broke down on the side of the road and had to be recovered by "Landrover and trailer".

Oh the shame !

In which way you're getting access to these papers? I'm still on research since I bought my red Diva last year - indeed the result is more than poor.

Here's the link to their site, for vehicle history paperwork....

https://www.martinrobey.com/search?q=photocopy" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I emailed them with my chassis number first, to check if they had much for my car before ordering.

Cheers,
Jez

Thanks a lot guys,

by the way Julian, just manufactured some distancers to lower the front down by 20mm, done out of inox. Looks like I need now longer screws. Which ones to use? I assume 10.9 or 12.9 should fit (8.8 I don't dare)?

Yours
Wolfgang

I've amended the images so that they are now the right way up. When I get the new forum sorted it should resolve this issue.

I do like the comment from the factory, 'sounds a decent bloke', wonder if there are some rude comments in other notes in the files.

I think they had plenty of difficult customers. In my CV8 file I have comments like 'In order to fob him off...' and 'Being one of the 'Chosen Race'...'
