Virtual Concours
Re: Virtual Concours
Hi Dave me again - forgot to say, I give permission for my photos to be used by the club and viewed by anyone. Also, like Anton, I don’t see all the submissions at the bottom of the board index? (I am logged in and am a member).

Re: Virtual Concours
Right at the bottom of the Board Index page in the section headed Jensen Owners' Club website and with the heading Virtual Concours 2020, here
It does say there are two sections, members and non members but there are only two cars in this section and none elsewhere that I can find, but I assume this is it so far.

Re: Virtual Concours
I can see it on my mobile so no, viewing on a mobile seems to work just as well so I'm afraid I don't know the answer.

Re: Virtual Concours
The stuff at the bottom of the screen is only visible to Dave and a few others, including people that helped out with testing forum updates, which is why John could see it.
I will add the photos that I have so far tonight, the page will then be made visible to all forum members and be at the top of the forum.

If I had a fully working right shoulder and right knee, I'd love to join in but alas..... Good luck to everyone who enters

Wots wrong, Martin? Have you damaged your self "doing up" the FF? Anyway hopefully you will soon recover. Read some Proust and relax. kenny38

Re: Virtual Concours
Please bear with us while I get the photos sorted and posted on the forum. Still waiting on some photos from David and I guess there are still entries coming in.
It's a lot of work for me and far more for David, I suspect far more than a normal concours and David really is to be commended for this initiative.
It's fantastic to see all these wonderful Jensens from overseas that wouldn't normally be able to attend the concours. I may have to talk Sarah into a trip to Australia which just happens to coincide with their big meeting.
I'm especially looking forward to see what points Ian Northeast gets for originality with his slightly modified Bonneville C-V8

Re: Virtual Concours
Shoulder reconstruction surgery early in the year in Sydney (it takes a very long time and lots of physio to get it moving and not hurting) and the knee gave way whilst crouching down a week or two ago.kenny38 wrote:Wots wrong, Martin? Therefore, kneeling, lifting, stretching, polishing etc. are not currently possible.

Re: Virtual Concours
Its a lot of work, I was up to date last night and optimistically thought an hour this morning would be enough,I dont mind though and am glad to see so many great entries from all over the world, and the standard of cars in all classes is amazing.zacmarshall wrote:Please bear with us while I get the photos sorted and posted on the forum. Re: Virtual Concours
Entries for the JOC Virtual Concours closed last night.
Forum members can see the cars that entered here:
https://www.joc.org.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=237
There are some fantastic cars entered, including many from overseas that I have never seen before.
