Fuel prices
Has anybody noticed the fuel prices at the moment.
We went shopping yesterday for food and on the way back the low fuel warning light came on in her car ( why do women always leave it until then) so we popped into fill it up. £1.09 I was amazed and the cashier said the next load booked in is even cheaper. How sad is this, we are all on lockdown and we cant even take advantage of the cheap fuel with the good weather.
Hopefully everybody is staying safe. It was good to see most people have stayed at home this weekend with the good weather.

Re: Fuel prices
I took my Jensen out for a run the day before lockdown and paid £1.06 per litre and we usually pay a bit more for fuel as we are remote.
Shame I cant use it now, but at least I got to use my car just before lockdown.

Re: Fuel prices
My plan is if I have the wheels finished next week is to take my Jensen to do the weekly shop, I will probably have to drop Sarah as they are limiting numbers inside the Supermarket but at least it will do a couple of miles.

Ironic isn't it. I'm expecting Alanis Morrisette to be singing about it soon.
Cos right now, our cars are both getting at least three weeks to the gallon...

You lucky bastards. Gas used to be ok here. Certainly well under the UK.
Well over NZ $2 a litre.
A barrel is barely the third of the cost it was a month ago. In our case it’s govt taxes ....

Re: Fuel prices
The weekend before last the constant rain paused for a few hours and I took my nearly empty MKII out to give it a good run. Filled the tank for about $30. Much better than the nearly $100 it took to fill my former MKIII the first time years ago. It was $1.28/gal this morning. We have switched to making masks and gowns at work, so I am "essential" for now.

Re: Fuel prices
Some places in the USA gas is under a buck a gallon! Still about $2.20 here for regular. Of course our Interceptors will not run on it!

Re: Fuel prices
There are variable prices across the country, in my area it's £1.11 / litre which equates to about $5.25 per US gallon.

Re: Fuel prices
Its floating around the $1.09 AUD for 98 RON here (some places are selling 91 for as little as 0.60c per litre).
Thats approx 0.54p in the UK
I filled up everything yesterday as it was $1.06 for 98, the Aston, Jensen and 3 x 20l jerry cans got filled.
Annoyingly diesel is still high for some reason.
The lawn mower will run on premium for a while
