Jim, 2340-1840 started out (accordign to what came with the car) in 77 as SBF886R, in 81 changed to 856FBU, in 88 became SJT51, then in 92 became OWK221P, then HUM389N in 2003. it was initially registered in the IOM Jan 76 - don't know the rego, purchaser was R S Formby..

I bought it and had it shipped to NZ in 2007 and is now 440 V8. Regards Julian

Thank you for your reply on Interceptor SNB 992 J Chassis No 123/4088 and for the information that you have

I note that your car was owned by a former JOC member from 1980 - 2014 / 15

The car was offered for sale in the JOC Magazine No 231 in 09/10.2013 for £26,000
The car was offered for sale in the JOC Magazine No 233 in 01/02.2014 for £23,450
The car was offered for sale in the Silverstone Auction on 28.03.2015 but was unsold
The car was offered for sale at the CCA Auction on 21.04.2015 with a score of 81/135 but was unsold
It would appear that you purchased the car later in 2015
I understand that there were two previous owners prior to 1980

If I find out any more information on your car, I will let you know

Kind regards

Julian

Thank you for your information on Chassis No 2340/1840

I have details of earlier ownership include notes that the car was re-imported back to the UK in 1977
Early ownership appear to be Hurst Park Motors, Ricard Fromby, T Aked & Sons, John Carter, T Aked & Sons, for sale by Hurst Park Autos, new owner Stephen J Thomas, Francis Braganza and then Keith Boucher, who it would appear, you may have purchased the car from
If you would like some more details please let me know

If I find out any additional information on your car, I will let you know

Kind regards

Hi Jim,

It was actually my fathers car which he gave to me around 2012!
I believe he had it since around 1977!

It’s been a never ending project for me.
