Tank is out, after removing wheel carrier, and rear exhaust and all looks OK, there has been slight weeping from the drain plug and fuel line banjo, but down to crusty fibre washers. Will clean and repaint tank and straps, after flushing the tank out. With the tank out I found the Panhard rod was once again bent. I had this problem when I stripped the rear suspension 4 years ago, it was easy to straighten, perhaps too easy, so presume it has thinned out with corrosion and is now weak. Will look for a piece of tubing I can slide over the top and weld up to give it it's strength back, probably better than finding a replacement that isn't also corroded, plus more fun to do
Have got new copper pipe, quality filter which will go near the tank rather than in the engine bay, away from the heat, and braided rubber pipe for the flexi bits.New bits

.. Nice the little clips you made.. my friend used to dismantle alot of Interceptors years ago ago and I remember raiding all his boxes for those little brake-clips as some of mine were missing too.. keep up all your good work Kev at the new hospital and in your garage.. and Stay Safe Mr Man
