Midge and an SP!....Does he think it's Christmas time?? :D

I saw him in concert at our local Civic hall in the 1990s, whilst he was on a solo tour, playing to a couple of hundred people at a time!

He was good and very self deprecating, joking about how Bob Geldof had taken all the "glory" and the "Knighthood", leaving him to scrape a living touring around local provincial theatres! :D

I think he's owned a few classic cars over the years too.

Very cool and, a brilliant gig he played in Sydney on Saturday! The entire "Vienna" album, plus various other Ultravox tunes and some Visage too.
Most enjoyable - I hope he liked the Jensen 8)

Hi, Mark. Is that the SP you got from some remote part of Western Australia? If so have you found it a "sound car" 8) 8) and are you "doing" her up? Will we see you at the Carrington provided the gov doesn't ban us? Do not worry. Jesus still loves you despite your many sins. kenny38 8)

Hi Kenny!

Yes, this is the WA car you spoke about. It’s pretty much sorted now. Been a good fun car to own.

I certainly hope I’m forgiven for my many sins by Jesus. My wife never will!
Hope to see you in Katoomba.

Mark

Well he was sat in one... the car either didn't have a bonnet on or it was up as you can see the orange air intake

Colin

Midge is sat in my SP. I had him and his friends at my hangar in Sydney for a fly. He used to have a lovely DB6 which the Jensen reminded him of.
I just thought I’d take a pic of him in the car for you lot which he was glad to do.

He didn't own a Jensen but has a few regrets selling his Aston DB6 for what was probably little money back then!....
