Where did Steve, aka RAP72, go?
After dropping the stink bomb, he ran away!
:) :) :)
Tell me about the title.
It was a joke, right?

Yes.
The world is doing fine.
There is no 'Climate Emergency'.
More people, in absolute numbers as well as a percentage of world population, are living in better conditions, in better health and greater prosperity and security than at any time in history.
Sorry to not be a doom-monger.
If you want doom-mongering nonsense you can talk to Grumpy Greta.

Is the apostrophe in "it's" in the heading of this topic appropriate? :D

Hi ya
Sorry guys ,time to go,my membership must be up by now,so this will be my last comment, are you there apostrophe man, being an educated man ,don’t you think it’s a bit dictorial trying to impose your standards on others ?. I can see the point of good grammar when required ,but ,come on ,when your chatting via the use of emails to fellow members does it really matter to anybody but you ,,I will answer that —No !!!! Lighten up for gods sake ,,,life’s to short,I wonder how many people don’t post anything in fear of contradiction of there grammar ,,shame shame shame
Live long and prosper people ,,you will not be hit by a bolt of lightening if your grammars wrong

Hi Geordie, you may be leaving the Owners' Club but there is no need to leave the forum. The forum is open to non-members as well as members. The only section that is restricted is the JOC Members Area, all others will remain open to you.

Dear Geordie,
It looks like your membership isn't the only thing that's expired. Your sense of humour has also disappeared.
Unless you never had one.
When someone's spelling is as bad as yours, you need to accept that somebody will tease you about it, in, I hope, a friendly manner.
This entire thread is for fun.
I suggest it is you who needs to 'lighten up'.
You could have just ignored this thread, if you didn't like it.
BTW,
It's 'lightning' not 'lightening'.

I'm used to being mocked, laughed at and ridiculed.
I'm married, with children.
:) :) :)

Maybe you shouldn't take it personally George and instead take it as a learning lesson type of thingImage.. Learning something new is great stuff, I like to learn new things.. the problem being though as you get really old you start forgetting it  .. so enjoy the new stuff we are able to learn while we can  .. it's a good thing.. Loosen up George with that Hanky Head of YoursImage

That's not a problem Grant. You get to learn new things literally every day. Like who you are, where you live and so on.

Of course not! It's completely wrong.

But I was assuming that Steve was attempting irony, or maybe sarcasm.

Of course, maybe he was not.
