Hi all,
I don't know whether you've seen this website, but here is a link to Jensen Interceptor appearances on the big and small screen.
Please note there are five pages to view.

If you do a search for Jensen you get 6 pages showing all Jensens and not just Interceptors! I haven't looked at this website for a while and the webmaster seems to have added a few cars since I last saw it. It's interesting to see how often 'The Baron' C-V8 appears as an extra in other TV shows of the period, there is one shot from an episode of The Saint where you can clearly see its BAR 1 registration.

Hi Grant, again I'm simply not sure, the building in the background looks to have a similar (sort of) setting to this pic. In the 1970s it spend a lot of time with JOC committee member Peter Williams at Old Gurrs Farm, Sussex. Mike Williams kindly sent me some pics of the time frame. Cheers its Steve (srs company name 8) )

I saw your car once Steve I think it may have been at Gaydon was it or.. or possibly a Rejen open day?.. I can't specifically remember but it is lovely and obviously has nice history which is always so nice to have with a car the provenance etc.. great stuff and I am sure you love it  when I was young I also remember it on the front of one of the books which I still have here at homeImage.. even more strange is that I have the bonnet from that blue Mk2 that you owned a while back  .. It's in my barn with a few other bonnets.. I do like to stock this stuff.. "Always handy even if you never use it" ..( a saying that I like to use that makes absolutely no sense whats so ever!!)Image

Plenty of things in life that make no sense Grant, like someone said "Love to learn — hate to be taught". Yes YBP has plenty of history I've got a couple of boxes full of the stuff. By the way you haven't got the original steering wheel for old Genghis have you? The word on the street is you collect more than bonnets

Hi Duncan I've read in the history file that Peter had extra driving lights fitted at some point as he was struggling to see on the dark country roads around the farm, so it could still be the car in the pic.

Hi Duncan I don't think it's in a movie from the link at the start of this thread the pic appears on first page, clicking on the pic takes you to "Clarkson's Top 100 Cars, Documentary, 2001" I've never seen the programme but guess the car is in it. Willing to bet its not in for very long as I've never come across it on the web.

Returning to the topic at the start of this thread, that imcdb site is excellent and if you spot a car they don't know about they are also very happy to include it. Look at the unidentified vehicles and the whole evening just disappears!

I recall the car in "Car Wash" because it was in the background during an intense discussion among the employees about whether chicken wings were meat or vegetable.

These pictures are in the database, but they are still cool. I just watched the movie.

Plot development is a bit weak, but.....
