I found a V5 for sale on Ebay.
A quick look through Rick's excellent Genome and I reckon its ULM 26F , last on the road in 1982.
I can't see why anyone with an Interceptor would want to change its identity to this ?
Surely advertising a written off car V5 can't be legal can it ?

Report it to Ebay (using the "report" button), it's certainly not legal, as the "live" bit in the description is inferring that this reg document could be used on another car, thus "ringing".

I passed it onto Paul Mac and asked a friend to ask his daughter and son in law (both in the police). if you look at his site he has many other logbooks for sale.

The actual car belonging to this registration document was scrapped many years ago after being banger raced. But the vehicle had been declared SORN and so the V5C remains active pending the day when it is taxed again for the road.
Selling a vehicle registration document as memorabilia is not illegal. Using such a document to clone a vehicle of course is illegal.
