Does anybody know if this car still exists in this configuration?
Just curious, as I think it was intended to act as a demonstration of their skills and that it would be returned to standard condition eventually.

I don't know for sure. One interesting point was that a couple of years ago, the owner posted some pictures on Facebook of the front wing. For those that don't know, the FF wing was originally made from two pressings joined horizontally. There was very minor spidering of surface rust below the clear coat coming from this joint. It was good of the owner to share that as it could be the sort of thing that might happen to other FFs. Something you wouldn't notice under paint. So worth paying attention to that seam.
I think the colour scheme, silver [bare metal colour in this case] with regal red roof panel, is a nice play on the regal red/silver roof that many early Vingale and West Brom FFs were done in. It is especially interesting when you think back to the original Jensen plans to make the roof bare metal - stainless in this case, on the FFs. I have often mused about getting a roof done in stainless, and wonder why it has not been done already on an FF.

If it is Gregg Alvarez yes it is Hightone Restorations.
They have some amazing projects on the go and the standard of work seems amazing from some of the finished cars I have seen.

Interesting, Grant, Steve, thanks.
They have a C-V8 Mk III for sale which they restored a few years ago and I put two pictures in the For Sale section.

That's interesting. I know little about FFs but Interceptor wings were made in one piece. JP&S had replacement wings made in two pieces as you describe, probably as the original tooling was lost or damaged. I believe the latest Robey Interceptor wings are one piece again. Did FF wings follow the same course, or maybe numbers e so low that JP&S never made new wings?

I'm fairly certain Mike that Interceptor wings were always in 2 pieces joined just above the swage line then leaded along the seam
.. well that is what I have always found on the early cars and right through to the late ones
