And your workshop blocks the panoramic view of the warehouse next door, so you can make everyone happy.

Have been thinking of a darker carpet, but a Honda does not leak oil. :D
Bit of a Honda theme there! I will take the CBR110R, the RC30 and the NS400. Thank you very much!

Fantastic work Jason! A proper job there! Just one suggestion. Just one thing left, to chalk your chassis number on in insides of the cavity walls? :D :D :D

The "hipped" brickwork to match the house is a nice touch - might as well make the garage look good. Add a trellis and some climbing plants to make it attractive, but nothing that will gown up into the gutters!

Before you move the car in, get some exterior white paint and cover all the breezeblocks. Keeps down the dust and makes it smoother to brush against, and makes the room so much brighter. It will get dirty but it's easy to paint once the first full coat is on. Talking of brighter, you can now buy very reasonably priced LED panels instead of the fluorescent tubes we used to use. And install far more electrical points than you think you need!

Very English centric and good comments there about the power points! Good advice! I don't have enough sockets for battery chargers, etc. I actually did my breeze walls in a good quality household emulsion straight on to the the breezeblocks. I love sleeping in garages :D, sometimes have pets (not good around cars) and was concerned about the VOC emissions and the smell basically from external paints. So far, 6 years, no problems. In Switzerland, because of electrical inspections, quite a few houses in the poorer farming parts have one socket per floor to this day, and light sockets kept to the minimum. The same era buildings then have a 3 phase 60 amp socket, often used with 3 phase extension leads, hung along the walls or trailed along the floor, to where power is needed that day, which usually means they can stay there for 10 years+. No RCCD. It just shows how too many inspections and regulations can make people go the other way.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I’m having 3 double sockets down each side, a double on the pillar between the front doors. Also the ceiling will be vaulted with two beams going from side to side which will have 4 sockets in as well so when cars are on trickle charge there will not be any cables across the floor. The walls will be plastered and flooring ceramic tiles. Jason.
