After a long wait my series 2 finally arrived from the USA, and after much fettling and advice (from good folk on here) is starting to look not too shabby.
Mechanically she was pretty good (jinxed myself now for saying that out loud I know!), but had a few leaks and issues common for the age which have now been resolved (new manifolds, carb replaced, main gearbox seal etc etc). Bodywork was very good with almost no rust (US west coast car), but had a few additional extras added over the years by previous owners which took some time to remove and get back to as original as I can. Still more to do (always will be) and wont be until next year that I complete most of the remaining projects, but happy with the progress so far......
Few photos below for those who are interested (bottom 2 taken last weekend outside Goodwood House). Went for afternoon tea as live near, and yes, took her up the famous hill climb (with kids in back!). Officially the fastest Jensen up the hill that day )
