It is actually very interesting and gets missed by a lot of people. I was born on the Island and did not leave until I was 17 and new nothing about it until I visited my Mother about 15 years ago and I stumbled across it.

Interesting. I think Switzerland would possibly be interested in buying the Isle of Wight... or they should be at least. What is a 3 in 1 navigable road?

A 3 in 1 is what you would classify as a 33% incline but it is also as in the description lots of sharp corners. The pavement has steps because of the incline.
