A nice compliment about my Jensen currently in disguise
A nice compliment about my Jensen currently in disguise
I joined the always affable, Tony Cope recently at All British Day held near the sea at Newcastle NSW, A fresh windy day and was organised by the Jaguar Car Club (the event not the weather). A well dressed man approached me and gave me his card. "can i talk to you in private" says he. Well he told me he was arranging a super car show near Newcastle where there were all Ferraris, AM, Porches etc being shown and "what i am looking for are really special cars such as this Hollywood car.....a Bond car. I am known as an expert in this field so here is an invitation to you".I left the field sad that my moment had been so roughly snatched away by an "expert on camoflaged Jensens" I nearly made it to a super classic show. Should I have attended and sat with the Astons? Kenny38

It is a rule of life that anyone who describes themself as an expert invariably isn’t.

Mr Bond drives an FF in the latest book. Could it be an SP next time Kenny?
Have you seen our stolen Jensen FF 119/011 https://twitter.com/jensenffdotcom

I always thought that an EX was a 'has been' and a SPURT was 'a drip under pressure'.

I'll bow to your superior knowledge Colin, you're obviously an expert.colin7673 wrote:It was a few years ago, but as far as I know that hasn't been another yet
Consider this, however:
Solo, by William Boyd (the one with the Jensen in it, and the one we are referring to here) was published in 2013. A whole six years go.
Trigger Mortis, by Anthony Horowitz, is the next in the series, and published in 2015.
Forever and a Day, also by Anthony Horowitz, the latest book in the series, was published in 2018.
Of course. all of them commissioned by Ian Fleming Publications and The Ian Fleming Estate.
