I hope they are going to insulate that or they will have fuel vaporisation problems.

Adding to what Steve said I would also have thought it would be a good idea to have a flexible section , thats got quite a few bends and looks like it is very rigid over that length

Don't need a flex section from the pump, side of engine, to carb as t will move with engine

Colin it will still vibrate though and will need to be made spot on as you not got any adjustment without a flex section which is another reason why most rigid pipe runs have them for adjustment as well

Most American V8 engines have a solid pipe from the fuel pump to the carb from the factory. Never any problems from vibration. V8 engines don't vibrate like a 4 cylinder does. :)

Looking at the new pipe it looks like there are compression fittings on the ends. Can't say I have seen many done that way. Most have a flared tapered line similar to a brake line. I guess it could work though as there is not much pressure in the line. :)
