Re: International Weekend 2019, Willerby, Hull.
I thoroughly enjoyed the International this year, good hotel, space in the car park which was set aside just for us, and plenty to do, actually that's my only problem with the International weekend, not enough time! Plenty of driving too, close to 600 miles over the weekend including a trip over the Humber Bridge which i had never seen before let alone driven over (the views up and down the estuary are spectacular, but you have to watch the road which is a shame).
I didn't take many 'general interest' shots so as you won't be interested in the different positions of C-V8 under bonnet lights I can only post a few.
Sir Greg Knight's early Interceptor at the Saturday lunch stop during the run out (organised by Greg, who still has two C-V8s, 'his 'n' hers', as wife won't let him even consider selling them), it's a lovely old thing and very original and I did hope my car could be like this one, but it was too far gone for that.
Another shot of the 1905 Panhard et Lavassor (with matching flower pot)
I don't photograph many Interceptors but I liked the colour of this one.
Chris Collingham's C-V8 Mk111 (with Jayne Bell's Mk11 behind) paint by Kestrel and interior refurbishment by Rejen, a nice car.
Judging Richard Lynne's car
Judged, Anton Raaymakers C-V8, Anton on the left with Jasper Beukenkamp who restored the car. This is the best C-V8 restoration I have ever seen, quite spectacular.
John
p.s Go on then, a C-V8 under bonnet light, I bet you didn't know they had under bonnet lights (not as useful as the wand type lamp on an Interceptor I must admit)

Great day at the concours yesterday.
Enjoyed chatting to faces old and new.
Congratulations again to Anton, well deserved in clearing up at the awards.
Great event, thanks to the organisers.
