Jensen-Healey on 'Wheeler Dealers'

Just watched a new episode of Wheeler Dealers set in California and featuring a five speed model JH. It is season 17 episode 6 and I managed to watch it by googling and watching a link to Dailymotion.com.

Definitely good publicity for the Jensen-Healey. Amazing how easily it seemed to come apart! After 180 miles driving Yorkshire's beautiful roads today I still think the Dellortos can snarl much better than the Strombergs!

They did a great job on her, but why o why did he have to sod about with the bumper's!!!

Just watched it and loved the sound of it and would advise anybody who wants a great little british sports car at still in my opinion to cheap you will have great fun i know i do

Annoying enough about the bumpers, but what REALLY annoys me about this show is how the cockney geezer bangs on about turning a profit yet they never include even a notional cost for the man hours involved. And which are definitely never just the sort of tinkering stuff a home mechanic could do - real money would be involved. So no profit at all - most would be done at a loss.

Not particularly a good show.
They made bodge jobs of the front bumper and the exhaust which sounds terrible, more like a moped. They cut up a perfectly OK new(ish) exhaust manifold. They left the wiper scratches in the windscreen. They omitted to fit DellOrto´s.
The show of the rebuild of the front is very good though. I presume they also did the rear end.
They did not have to do much to the car as it was basically in good nick from the start. Looks like the engine had a recent rebuild (new cam wheels, no oil leakages, inlet cam cover back to front, new exhaust manifold). Most of the small jobs that had to be done were not presented anyway.
