We're in the wrong business...
So either sell it or rent it out for a few days, earn the same money, and keep it!

Yeah, but you need the money to repair and replace if something goes wrong
Only working half a day now.

true, but you do anyway and at £1,000 a day I could run to a few repairs....colin7673 wrote:Yeah, but you need the money to repair and replace if something goes wrong
If I were the owner/hire operator i think I would lower the price to achieve better utilisation, most hire companies try to run their fleet at about 80%+ utilisation, probably less for specialist/classic cars, but I can't see this JH spending much time on hire at £1,000/day.

Google it. You can have an E Type for three days for that money,Watch out for the security /insurance deposit (maybe thousands) and with all car hire companies, they will be looking to take a few bob off you. Just recently,my family paid extra to have chains fitted to the driving wheels. One of these failed and damaged the bodywork. They said they were not responsible for the failure, and claimed for repairs to the front wing from the deposit. It is always very difficult to argue with these guys. Be careful !!
