@Alan, Thank you - nice to hear from a former owner! ...cool CV8, what a special car, I just read the history on the museum page. Michael mentioned the previous owner had taken a mk1 so that's nice to make the link. To be honest, I jumped in a little blind, it was only after the purchase I found out more about Michael, his background and the work they do. The whole UK/US connection is a draw for me and hope to make this as usable as possible. With your knowledge as an owner of many would you recommend anything in terms of brakes, cooling, ignition etc that makes them more usable without sacrificing much in terms of originality? Although I've had many classics this is my first Jensen!
The history file is on it's way, although I didn't realize it was a Robey file - so ordered one myself last week! Apparently, it was owned by a taxidermist at one point... do you know much about it's background?
