MY 1972 JENSEN INTERCEPTOR ONE DAY AT A TIME!

Post by StevenLA »

Dear Members,

I took the wheels of the Jensen which had been on the car since 1972 and we looking a bit rough.

I gave them to a wheel guy here in North Hollywood last week, to clean them up and polish them.

Yesterday, I went to pick them up and was shocked to see how great they looked !

I doubt they looked this good when they were first placed on the car, I hated the grey painted insert
and so we painted them black like the new 17 inch version.

Here are a few photos, tomorrow they will have the tires placed on them 225 x 70 x 15.

I also picked up the gas tank which was boiled and acid cleaned and repainted.

We hope to start the car next week, fingers crossed.

Have a great weekend !

Cheers Steven.

Wheels and gas tank look great .

If you are ever in Southern AZ, lets get together.

I am now in Yuma for “Midnight at the Oasis “. Awesome cars.

We can have a Jensen display next year!
