It's in Tokyo.
So, there's at least 1 Interceptor in Tokyo. I wonder if that is an original Japanese car.

Good timing also! my son and I (with the help of a professional!!) have just finished wrapping his E36 BMW at home. Totally transformed a 27 year old, 330,000 kms charcoal grey car, for a tiny fraction of a paint job cost.
Quite a bit of work but nothing really difficult, paying attention to details around the trim and removing front and rear bumpers was the key to making it look good. Camera didn't capture the colour very well, it's a metallic teal.

In the right application a cool technology.

One Interceptor owner I spoke to was thinking of doing just the roof, instead using vinyl.

hmm - one aspect beside the appearance issue - will the wrap really stand the temperature of the hood/bonnet in Tokio traffic conditions with hours of "crawling"?

Two years ago I bought my Jaguar X-type which is/was wrapped in matt black, done a few years previous. Got it cheap presumably because the wrap scared off buyers.
Most people who see the car love it. I am in two minds about it, would prefer it without but then it is a boring silver metallic. In these two years the wrap has not deteriorated, except for two small damages at the front bumper (flying stones).

Have thought about this with my car, the paintwork is poor and I will be doing the body work down to the bare metal in the future, but that will be at least 2-3 years away. So why not give the current paintwork a basic rub down, to remove any lumps and bumps, the wrap it in the same colour. My car would look fantastic and if it lasts 3 years or so, then will pulled off when I do the body.
I was chatting to Joerg about the White Lady, and agreed with him that it would look stunning in black, with all the chrome work on it. I suggested restore it as it should be in white, as it is such an important car and should be done correctly. Then after a few years, get it wrapped in black, to see what it looks like, it wouldn't be a permanent and could be returned to white in an instant if needed.
Some modern inventions are so good.

I wouldn't Kevin, your car looks great as it is, and I don't mean just on pictures but also live and up close. The White Lady in black for a season or two on the other hand, cool!

As I mentioned before cool technology for the right application.

Unfortunately just found an issue to bear in mind if considering a wrap for a longer term application - door dings on a colour change! Our wrap has only been on for 2 weeks and already 2 door dings (hopefully luck would be better with a Jensen!) but in both cases tore the wrap exposing the previous colour, black marks in metallic teal. If it was paint I'm sure they could have been hidden as no dents visible.

Still very happy with the outcome but disappointed in our fellow motorists!
