MK1 Interceptor

Post by KaranMK2 »

Working on another MK1 Interceptor - I could not resists buying it from Paul Baker as the lines and panels very decent. By working, I mean sometime early next year as just planning at the moment. Currently it is a non-runner and I am hoping to learn a bit more about these cars. Will post updates as I progress. Grateful for all the help / assistance to my posts in 2018. All the best in 2019. Karan

I'd venture to suggest Karan's case is almost incurable now.

Started working on this other Mark 1. It is now running after sitting idle for well over 12 years. Sounds very good but I have a leaking Mk1 radiator ( will need to replace) and the brake callipers were taken off so no idea of the brakes / master cylinder (could use someone local or guidance to reconnect and test brakes), steering rack, transmission, etc. Anyway, the body work is decent - and like my other Mark 1, I have sorted out the doors internals and red oxide the roof internal thus far and started to remove the seats as I have a really decent set to installed.
